Studio updates

We had amazing fun flying through this light up hoop skirt as fast as we possibly could. The pressure was definitely on but the results were so breathtaking, we absolutely love this !!!

Some garments are fated to be made, they are just meant to be. With all hands on deck and not a minute to spare this light up hoop skirt flowed together without a single hitch or hic-up. We had to make some adjustments to our normal methods and techniques to make sure that the garment was perfect for the customer and completed before a very close deadline. We were all thrilled when it was delivered and so delighted to see this amazing picture.

We have been so unbelievably busy working on creating some utterly stunning wedding gowns that our blog has been sadly waiting patiently on the sidelines.

We have a tremendous amount waiting to be posted up and a lot of brand new designs to share with you so our blog should be coming back to life with renewed sparkle and pizzazz.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry we have been quiet, so far 2016 is keeping us very busy, and we love it!

With some fabulous new custom designs including a one off paper wedding dress, yes I said paper! A presentation about the history of the corset at the Regency Town House in Brighton and a fun wedding photo shoot at The Hove Club on Fourth Avenue. Plus a competion we ran on Facebook due to be announced, we are giving away one of our hand made corsets to a lucky winner, who was proud enough to publish personal measurements online for us, just a little market research we have snuck in.  And of course we are still in main season with plenty keeping us busy.

So we have more than enough to blog about we hear you say, which is very true, but as we are still very busy and may not find the time to go into as much detail as we would like here is a little snippet.

The historical presentation was a novel addition to the diary this year, Susan is so very passionate about the history behind the corset and the Regency Town House was such a wonderful location, with so much history of it's own.  It is well worth a visit if you find yourself looking for things to do in Brighton and Hove.

The Hove Club was also a gorgeous location, with a military history it is a fabulous grade 2 listed building with some wonderfully large regency rooms, I especially liked the large doors and marble floors in the entrance, very grand if that's what you are looking for.  And I don't want to give too much away, but the garden was so pretty! It is a members only club, but I have been told there are temporary memberships available, and if you fancied a little of the members club scene over the summer then a cream tea in that beautiful garden would be well worth it:

We are still to publish those fabulous shoot pictures, a Juliet inspired gown in Ivory and Champagne, onto the website, these were taken by the lovely photographer Helen Tinner:

And I promise we will be posting the amazing paper wedding gown as soon as we can, honestly it was a challenge, but so worth the work, we can't wait to share the pictures with you all!

We do hope you are all having a lovely summer, and may this little heatwave be just what you needed to brighten your year.

Just having a look through some past photos and found this jem, its a gorgeous custom design, steampunk dress with a red patchwork corset, love this dress
